Lenders deal out $436M in financing for South Florida developments

Prestige Companies secured $25 million in permanent financing for Ecco Lofts, its 120-unit Live Local workforce housing community at 1451 West 29th Street in Hialeah. The seven-year loan from Lument, provided on behalf of Freddie Mac, replaces the project’s construction debt. Ecco Lofts was completed last year and is 98 percent leased.

The Real Deal included the deal in its roundup of more than $400 million in recent South Florida project financing. Alexander Ruiz, Chief Operating Officer of Prestige Companies, told the publication the team was able to lock in “a very attractive rate while the bond market was moving.”
